Hour of the Wolf

A drunk driver runs down a young boy. He runs away from the scene of the accident but his life is turned upside down. Increasingly desperate evasive action drives him mad. Superintendent Reinhart and the recently created secondhand bookshop owner Van Veeteren are faced with a case that develops according to its own perverse logic, as predestined as it is unpredictable.
